Iskraemeco Powers Smart Energy Future with Major Enea Operator Rollout
Iskraemeco, in collaboration with PPH Politech, has secured a key role in one of Poland's largest smart metering initiatives led by Enea Operator. The project will see the installation of 3 million remote reading meters across Enea Operator's distribution network by 2030, marking a major step toward modernizing the nation's energy infrastructure.
In the initial phase of the rollout, scheduled for 2025, Iskraemeco and Politech will supply 600,000 smart electricity meters. These next-generation devices come equipped with advanced communication technologies, including eSIM and 2G/LTE CAT-M1/NB2, enabling real-time data exchange and offering enhanced control over energy distribution.
This large-scale deployment is the result of a rigorous innovation partnership framework designed to ensure that all technological and regulatory standards are met. The smart meters will help facilitate efficient energy consumption monitoring, improve real-time access to network data, and increase distribution flexibility to support Poland's ongoing energy transition.
By partnering with Enea Operator, Iskraemeco, and Politech, they aim to deliver a modern, responsive energy infrastructure. The initial batch of smart meters is expected to be delivered in 2025, with all parties working closely to ensure a seamless and timely rollout.
